Google Ads
Requirements
To set up your Google ads account, you would need someone who has access to the Google Ads account to “Sign in with Google” and grant Segwise permission to your marketing data.
Step 1: Connect Google Ads
In your Segwise dashboard, go to “Settings” > “Ad Networks”
Click on Connect under Google Ads
Once the screen loads, click on the Sign in with Google Ads button.
Step 2: Choose Google Account
Select the Google account with access to your organisation’s Google Ads.
Grant the requested permissions to proceed:
Note: Google provides blanket permissions that include managing your account, but Segwise only reads your data and will not perform any writes or updates. This is well documented in our privacy policy and we are happy to sign an MNDA.

Step 3: Choose Google Ads Account
Choose the Google Ads Account that you want Segwise to connect to. You can connect as many accounts as you wish. In this example, our Ads account is called “Segwise”.
Click on Enable after selecting your accounts.
Troubleshooting
There is a possibility that you might encounter any of the the following alerts while trying to setup Segwise, this is due to the settings you might have enforced on your end for your Google Ads accounts.
You can connect your Google ads account by adding Segwise as a trusted app using an administrator account, the steps are laid down below.
Follow these steps to add Segwise as a “Trusted” app in your Google Workspace.
1. Sign in with an administrator account to the Google Admin console.
2. In the Admin console, navigate to Menu > Security > Access and data control > API controls.
In App access control, click Manage Third-Party App Access.
For Configured apps, click Add app.
Enter 547307250418-dr33ocv1jran732ku4fukdvknq2tjvsc.apps.googleusercontent.com and click “Search”
Select “Segwise” in the search result
Select the Org unit you want to keep the scope to. Then Click Continue
Select “Trusted” and Click on Continue
Click on “Finish”
Once the above steps are complete you can select the ads account you would want Segwise to connect to.
In the example below the desired account is called “Segwise” and once you select that you can click on enable to complete the integration.
